ARLINGTON, Texas — Patriots defensive tackle Davon Godchaux is officially active Sunday against the Cowboys.Godchaux didn’t finish last Sunday’s win over the Jets after suffering an ankle injury. Jeff Moore wasn’t completely sure what to expect when he tossed his name in the ring for the vacant Tabor Academy head football coaching job.It didn’t take long for Moore to be convinced the Marion-based prep school was just what he was looking for.Moore was offered and accepted the job in February. Two weeks into his first season, it certainly appears as though Tabor landed the right candidate. (AP) — Drones, bloodhounds and an airboat were used in the search for a missing 9-year-old girl who had been camping with her family in upstate New York, officials said Sunday.Charlotte Sena was last seen on Saturday evening in Moreau Lake State Park, about 35 miles (60 kilometers) north of Albany. She had been riding her bike around a loop in the bucolic park with other children when she decided to ride around one more time by herself. Her parents became alarmed when the fourth grader failed to come back after 15 minutes, Gov. Inmate accused of killing corrections officer at Georgia prison

(AP) — A Georgia prison guard died Sunday after he was attacked by an inmate, state officials said.Correctional officer Robert Clark, 42, died at a hospital after an inmate assaulted him with a homemade weapon at Smith State Prison in rural Glennville, the Georgia Department of Corrections said in a news release.“The entire GDC team is mourning the loss of one of our own and we collectively express our deepest condolences to Officer Clark’s family and friends,” Corrections Commissioner Tyrone Oliver said in a statement. “We will support them as they navigate this tragedy over the coming days, weeks and months.”Clark had begun working as a state corrections officer six months ago, the agency said.Clark was escorting two inmates from the prison dining hall Sunday when one of them attacked him from behind, the department’s statement said. At least 10 migrants are reported killed in a freight truck crash in southern Mexico

TAPACHULA, Chiapas (AP) — At least 10 migrants have died and about 15 other people were injured when a freight truck they were riding in crashed on a highway in southern Mexico near the border with Guatemala. It was the latest in a series of migrants deaths in Mexico amid a surge in migrants traveling toward the U.S. border.The civil defense office of the state of Chiapas said the truck crash happened Sunday on a highway near the town of Pijijiapan, about 110 miles (175 kilometers) from the Guatemalan border.The office posted photos showing a small truck with an open cargo box tipped on its side, and victims thrown onto the side of the highway. Police search for driver after man killed in hit-and-run crash in Logan Square

CHICAGO — A search is underway on Sunday for a driver involved in an early-morning hit-and-run crash that left a man dead in Logan Square, according to Chicago police. Officers say the crash happened in the 3900 block of West Fullerton Avenue around 2:20 a.m.According to police, a 42-year-old man was riding a motor scooter in the area when the driver of a silver Honda, which was traveling southbound, allegedly ran a red light and struck the man near the intersection.Police say the man who was hit was pronounced dead on the scene.Chicago police believe the vehicle involved could possibly be a 2004 model Honda Civic with a missing front bumper cover.
