The National Weather Service said Hurricane Dora, which passed south of the island chain, was partly to blame for strong winds that initially drove the flames, knocking out power and grounding firefighting helicopters.Hawaii Gov. VOLENTE, Texas (KXAN) — The Travis County Sheriff's Office said despite patrol efforts, Lime Creek Road continues to grow in popularity as a thrill ride destination for sports car and motorcycle enthusiasts.The TCSO said the road, in the northwest part of the county near Lake Travis, is known for its tight curves, which attract those that enjoy driving fast and street racing.It is well aware of the dangerous roadway and has been working with residents to address issues for years, the agency said.According to the TCSO, from Jan. 1, 2019 to now, there have been two fatalities on Lime Creek Road. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany Police Department arrested a 59-year-old man in connection to a bank robbery on State Street. Leonard Price was charged with first-degree robbery and arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! According to the police, Price entered Broadview on the morning of July 26. Price displayed a gun and demanded money. Price fled the bank with cash.No one was injured during the robbery. Video captured a mob of thieves swarming a Nordstrom in Canoga Park as they cleared out the store during a destructive robbery on Saturday.Video captured the chaos as a large group of masked thieves clad in black clothing scrambled around the store, grabbing armfuls of designer clothing, purses, accessories and more.Los Angeles police received reports of the mass robbery at the Westfield Topanga mall around 4 p.m.Police said anywhere between 20-50 suspects are believed to be involved, although the exact number has not been confirmed.The thieves were seen violently grabbing whatever merchandise they could carry, with many seen ripping the security devices attached to designer purses and luggage items. Adult injured in shooting at Maryland trampoline park

BALTIMORE (AP) — One adult was injured in a shooting at a trampoline park in Maryland on Saturday, police said. Baltimore County Police said via social media that they responded to a report of a shooting around 7 p.m. at the Sky Zone in Timonium, north of Baltimore, and one person was taken to a hospital. Police said that there was no ongoing threat to the public.Detective Anthony Shelton told The Baltimore Sun that no suspects were in custody. Shelton said no children were injured. Dominic Sinclair of Baltimore told the newspaper that he was at the cash register with his 10-year-old son when he heard multiple noises that sounded like balloons popping.
