Multi-vehicle crash on I-95 in Miami sends 3 to hospital

A major crash spanning across all five southbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Miami closed the highway for much of Sunday morning and sent three people to the hospital.City of Miami Fire Rescue units responded to the scene of the multi-vehicle wreck at around 6:20 a.m. on Sunday.First responders arrived to find three vehicles, including an 18-wheeler, that were involved in the crash. Investigators said the crash happened southbound near Northwest 62nd Street.Good Samaritan Tony Navarro said he stopped to help the victims while he was on his way to work. “I noticed the jackknifed tractor-trailer when I looked to the right, I could see this vehicle, and I saw that no fire rescue or police personnel were on scene,” said Navarro, “so I immediately rendered assistance as the first responder until fire rescue arrived.”Two patients, one male and one female, were transported in serious condition to Ryder Trauma Center. Body of missing hiker found at Glacier National Park in Montana, officials say

(CNN) — Search crews have found the body of a Colorado man who went missing while hiking Glacier National Park in northwestern Montana, according to National Park Service officials.The family of Adam Fuselier, 32, last heard from the hiker from Castle Pines, Colorado, on the afternoon of August 29, an NPS news release stated.Officials said he may have begun his climb Tuesday morning at Reynolds Mountain.On Wednesday, park rangers were alerted Fuselier was overdue to return. His vehicle was discovered on the 6,646-feet Logan Pass, the highest elevation in the park reachable by car, according to the NPS.Teams began a ground search Wednesday amid foggy, rainy and windy weather conditions.Crews located Fuselier’s body on Reynolds Mountain Friday, officials said. SEATTLE (AP) — Detectives in Seattle were investigating the deaths of two adults and two children whose bodies were found following a reported shooting and house fire.Officers responding to a report of a shooting in a residential area of the city Saturday morning found the house engulfed in flames and its doors barricaded closed, the Seattle Police Department said.Nearby residents were evacuated, and firefighters extinguished the blaze before finding the victims’ bodies inside the house.
