Rutland man allegedly threatens restaurant staff with gun

RUTLAND, Vt. (NEWS10) -- On Sunday afternoon, Vermont State Police responded to Mama T's Country Kitchen for the report of a male threatening staff with a firearm. The suspect, Kenneth Dupuy, 31, was located shortly after on Nickwackett Street and arrested for two counts of aggravated assault. He then proceded to threaten staff and a customer with a firearm. Dupuy was transported to the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility and is being held without bail.

Saratoga man sentenced for money laundering conspiracy

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Monday, Michael J. Smith, 62, of Saratoga, was sentenced to five years of probation for conspiring to launder money. Smith admitted to conspiring with a woman he met online and her purported attorney to launder over $200,000 in fraudulently obtained government benefits that mostly came from COVID-19 relief programs. The funds were obtained through fraudulent unemployment insurance applications and business loan applications.Smith received benefits from several states, including Ohio, Illinois, Maryland, Colorado, California, and Pennsylvania. Smith purchased gift cards with the funds and sent photographs of the gift cards to his co-conspirators.

LOUIS - A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for several counties southwest of St. Louis until 9 p.m. FOX 2 meteorologists are tracking several isolated severe cells moving up I-44 and into the St. Louis area Monday afternoon.  The severe threat is fairly low with these storms although a few 40-50 mph wind gusts will be possible in the few areas that do see storms at all. FOX 2 viewers have sent us video of hail from Florissant, Monday afternoon. Missouri police search for crop damaging vandals

WELLSVILLE, Mo. -- Police are asking the public to help identify the person or people responsible for corn crop damage over the weekend. Images shared from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office appear to show tire tracks in the field, some of them are in circles.The damage is in a field located off of Highway AA near Red Barn Road. 22-Year-Old Rider Injured in Electric Bicycle Accident near Arville StreetLAS VEGAS, NV (July 17, 2023) – Tuesday afternoon, one man was hospitalized after an electric bicycle collision on West Pyle Avenue.Authorities responded to the scene just before 3:50 p.m., near Decatur Boulevard on July 11th.Per reports, the driver of a Toyota Tundra was heading east and struck a man who was riding an electric bicycle and failed to stop at the stop sign. 32-Year-Old Man Pronounced Deceased after a Deadly Two-Vehicle Crash on State Route 62 near Rotary WayJOSHUA TREE, CA (July 17, 2023) – Thursday morning, a two-vehicle crash on State Route 62 left one man dead.The incident occurred just before 9:00 a.m., on July 13th, just west of Rotary Way, involving a 2006 Honda Accord and a Freightliner dump truck.According to reports, a Honda Accord was traveling on State Route 62 at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control.
