Santa Monica woman awoke to naked man standing next to her bed, police say

The Santa Monica Police Department is looking for a man who allegedly attempted to rape a woman after sneaking into her bedroom in the nude early Saturday.In the 1500 block of 15th Street, a woman awoke at about 1 a.m. to find that a naked man was standing next to her bed, police said in a news release. "After a brief struggle, the victim was able to open the front door of the apartment and force the attacker out," the release added. Motorcyclist struck on Tully Road in San Jose last month dies, police investigating

(KRON) -- A motorcyclist who was struck by a car on Tully Road last month has died in the hospital, the San Jose Police Department announced Monday. Officers responded to the crash involving a motorcycle and a 2000 tan Buick Sedan on Aug. 10 at around 9:15 p.m.A preliminary investigation of the crash, which occurred at Tully and Mclaughlin Avenue, revealed that a 2001 black Suzuki motorcycle was traveling west on Tully when it was struck by the Buick, which was turning left from eastbound Tully. Hundreds of drug users arrested in San Francisco There was a lone adult male riding the motorcycle at the time of the crash. The Buick's occupants, a man and woman, remained on the scene and cooperated, police said.The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital with major injuries and later stabilized. Pedestrian killed by stolen car while walking on sidewalk in San Jose

(KRON) -- A man is dead after being struck by a car while walking on a sidewalk early Sunday morning in the Castlemont neighborhood, according to the San Jose Police Department.Officers responded to a crash that occurred near the intersection of Winchester Boulevard and Walgrove Way around 3:22 a.m. A 2019 Hyundai SUV was traveling northbound on Winchester Blvd. when it left the roadway, striking a man that was walking on the sidewalk.The car, which was occupied by a male juvenile, then collided with a tree on the sidewalk. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
