CHICAGO (AP) — Kahleah Copper scored 24 points on 9-of-11 shooting, Marina Mabrey hit four 3-pointers and finished with 23 points and the Chicago Sky beat the Phoenix Mercury 104-85 Sunday. Courtney Williams made 9 of 13 from the field, scored 19 points and had nine assists and Alanna Smith added 10 points for Chicago (10-15). Robyn Parks, a 31-year-old rookie who went undrafted out of VCU in 2014, hit four 3-pointers and scored 14 points — both career highs. Mabrey and Copper hit back-to-back 3-pointers to cap a 9-0 run that made it 20-8 midway through the first quarter. Phoenix, which led for just 43 seconds, twice trimmed its deficit to six points but got no closer. Dorchester man arrested in deadly Jamaica Plain shooting

A 31-year-old Dorchester man has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting earlier this month in Jamaica Plain, police said Sunday.Dequann Whyte-Cohen was arrested around noon Sunday on a warrant charging him with the murder of Dante Webb, 45, of Jamaica Plain. Whyte-Cohen is slated to be arraigned Monday in West Roxbury District Court.Officers responding to a reported shooting on Forest Hills Street around 1:39 a.m. on July 18 found Webb shot.
