BOSTON (AP) — Gleyber Torres keyed the Yankees to their first doubleheader sweep at Fenway Park since 2006, leading New York over the Boston Red Sox 3-2 and 4-1 on Tuesday to get manager Aaron Boone his 500th career win.Torres had a go-ahead, two-run single in the sixth inning and started a game-ending double play with the bases loaded in the opener of a day-night doubleheader opener. (AP) — The New England Revolution have made additional changes to their coaching staff following last week’s abrupt resignation of longtime coach Bruce Arena after he was placed on administrative leave by Major League Soccer because of allegations he made insensitive and inappropriate remarks.The team announced Tuesday night that Clint Peay, who had been serving as coach of New England’s reserve MLS Next Pro Revolution II team since 2019, has been elevated to interim head coach of the MLS club. Arena’s longtime assistant Richie Williams was originally given the interim title after Arena was placed on leave last month. SAN DIEGO -- San Diego County Crime Stoppers on Tuesday released photos of a vehicle suspected of striking two people in the Colina Del Sol neighborhood last month, leaving one of the pedestrians seriously injured.The hit-and-run crash occurred on Aug. 26 around 3:36 a.m. as the two pedestrians left a business in the 4800 block of University Avenue, the local organization said in a news release. While they were walking in the alley between 4000 Estrella Avenue and 4000 48th Street, a vehicle driving northbound in the alley struck the two men and left the scene, according to officials. Cybersecurity incident affects services at The Weather Network
