Justice Dept. moves closer toward possible indictment of Trump in classified documents investigation By ERIC TUCKER (Associated Press)WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal grand jury investigating Donald Trump in Florida heard from at least one additional witness Wednesday amid signs that the Justice Department was moving toward a possible indictment over the former president’s mishandling of classified documents. In the last week, his lawyers have met with Justice Department officials to argue against an indictment; Trump has issued social media posts in which he suggested he anticipated that he might be charged; and a former top aide appeared before a grand jury in Miami — an indication, legal experts said, that prosecutors had settled on Florida rather than Washington as an appropriate venue for charges. In addition, several media reports Wednesday evening said prosecutors had recently issued the Trump legal team a target letter, which is often but not always a precursor to criminal charges. Australia plans to ban swastikas and other Nazi symbols in legislation coming next week CANBERRA, Australia (AP) — Australia’s government plans legislation to ban swastikas and other Nazi symbols nationwide due to an increase in far-right activity, Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus said Thursday. While most Australian states already ban such Nazi symbols, the federal law would go further by also banning the trade in such material, Dreyfus said.“There’s been a rise in this kind of violent far right activity. We think it’s time for there to be a federal law which I’ll be bringing to the Parliament next week,” Dreyfus told Nine Network television. We’ve got responsibility for import and export. A few lucky ping-pong balls, and a generational talent can end up on your roster. That's how the Blackhawks and their fans are feeling after they got a lot of lottery luck on May 8, winning the No. 1 overall pick and the shot to select elite prospect Connor Bedard. It's highly, highly likely that the center will be selected by the team when they go on the clock at the NHL Draft on June 28 in Nashville. But even when the Blackhawks get Bedard, he'll be the first major player on a team that is still very much rebuidling. Even with the phenom, who had 71 goals and 72 assists with the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League that season, it could be a while before the team returns to the playoffs. General manager Kyle Davidson has a number of...
