Saints right-handed starter Blayne Enlow only threw two innings against Indianapolis Thursday at CHS Field, but they might have been his two most important innings of the season.The 24-year-old Enlow, still working his way back from Tommy John surgery, made the most of his allotted time on the mound, retiring all six batters he faced as the Saints ended their losing streak at three games with a 4-1 victory over the Indians.“Just trying to take care of the arm,” Enlow said. “Health is wealth.”Enlow was ranked the No. 10 prospect in the Twins organization by MLB.com in 2020, but Tommy John surgery cost him almost all of the 2021 season. CLAYTON, Mo. – Sex trafficking suspect Chantel Robinson made a bus trip from about 700 miles south to the St. Louis County Circuit Court on Thursday to answer prosecutors’ questions about her reported defiance while out on bond.Robinson, 19, and a co-defendant, Joemarius Green, 23, are accused of selling minors, ages 16 and 17, out of the Renaissance Hotel near St. Louis Airport. ST. CHARLES, Mo. – The St. Charles City-County Libraries have approved a policy aimed at controlling the number of unattended youths inside libraries at certain times. Library officials say there have been times when more than 100 unattended kids have arrived at the Kathryn Linnemann Branch in St. Charles after a nearby school is dismissed.The new policy gives the chief executive officer of the libraries the authority to limit the number of unattended children under the age of 16 allowed into any single branch or facility at one time.There will also be new requirements when any public school in St. Charles County has a full or partial day of school. Prior to 5 p.m. on those days, any child under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, or the guardian of any child between 10 and 16 must fill out a form that will be available online. St. Louis beagle families celebrate first anniversary of rescue from breeding facility

On Thursday, St. Louis beagle families celebrated one year with their rescue dogs. Fifty dogs were brought to St. Louis from Virginia, where 4,000 beagles were saved from a testing and breeding facility last year."She had been in a cage most of her life. So, when we got her out of the kennel here, she didn't know how to walk on the floor. She would Army crawl for us," said Sarah-Kate Sullivan.Since adopting their beagle, Birdie, Sullivan said she’s experienced playing in a yard, something she never had before the rescue."Birdie couldn't be any sweeter. She's very loving and sweet, but she can also hold a grudge," said Sullivan.Birdie is one of 50 beagles sent to St. Louis last year when 4,000 beagles were rescued from Envigo, a testing and breeding facility in Cumberland, Virginia.
