NYSP: Man assaults multiple victims; tries to follow ambulance to hospital

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) - New York State Police have arrested Quazey Robinson, 22, of Clifton Park after they say he forced his way into an apartment and assaulted several people inside. Troopers said the victims were known to Robinson and a child was inside the apartment, at the time. The child was not hurt. He was arrested by Niskayuna Police a short time later. He was allegedly following an ambulance taking one of the victims to the hospital.Charges:Burglary in the First Degree (felony)Three counts of Assault in the Third Degree (misdemeanor)Endangering the Welfare of a Child (misdemeanor)Robinson was arraigned in Halfmoon Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail. He is being held on $50,000 cash, a $100,000 bond, or a $500,000 partially secured bond.

Bird, a micro-mobility company, launched a successful pilot program in Pittsfield last year, during which over 25,000 rides were completed on scooters. EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. - A Florissant foot doctor with a practice in East St. Louis, Illinois, appeared in federal court last week and pleaded guilty to health care fraud.Prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Illinois said Howard Jackson, 69, admitted that from January 2016 to December 2020, he billed Medicare and Medicaid for procedures he never performed.Jackson told the court he regularly submitted claims to Medicare and Medicaid for nail avulsions, which is a procedure involving the partial or total removal of the toenail from the tip of the nail back to its base. Nail avulsions typically require the patient to be given anesthesia to avoid pain or discomfort. GRAND JUNCTION — Tina Peters, the former Mesa County clerk accused of illegally accessing her election system, avoided jail time for a misdemeanor obstruction conviction in another case on Monday.County Judge Bruce Raaum sentenced Peters to 120 hours of community service and four months of home detention with an ankle monitor for trying to prevent authorities from taking an iPad she allegedly used to video a court hearing.However, the sentence was immediately put on hold while Peters appeals it, The Daily Sentinel reported.Peters, who has become a prominent national figure in the election conspiracy movement, had faced up to six months in jail. Man rescued after falling from Santa Monica Pier
