Whether you don't celebrate Christmas or you're looking for a nice holiday meal out, here's a look at some of the Austin restaurants that'll be open on Christmas Eve and/or Christmas Day.Carve American GrilleCarve will offer a three-course prix fixe menu on Dec. 24 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Curbside pickup services are available from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., with meals costing $69 per person. Suspect shot and killed after firing shots outside O'Fallon City Hall O'FALLON, Mo. - An investigation is still unfolding Monday morning after police in O'Fallon, Missouri, shot and killed a suspect. It all started with shots being fired just outside O'Fallon City Hall.Authorities have not released a lot of information about what happened in this case. We do know that this all began late Sunday afternoon with the suspect firing shots at the clock tower just feet from O'Fallon City Hall. It appears that there is damage to three of the four sides of the clock.A resident who lives near City Hall told FOX 2 that they heard gunshots in the area late Sunday afternoon. Police said that they don't know why the individual was firing shots at the clock tower. MetroLink starting new operating plan today ST. LOUIS - MetroLink will start a new operating plan starting Monday. It comes after a pilot program launched this October that evaluated the benefits of single-car MetroLink service.Under the new operating plan, two-car trains will be in service on the red and blue lines, Monday through Friday, until 8:00 p.m. After that, customers will need to board the front train car. On weekends, MetroLink will operate single-car trains all day long. Family’s pet ‘wolf-hybrid’ kills 3-month-old baby  A 3-month-old baby in Alabama died after being bitten by a “wolf-hybrid” kept as the family’s pet, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.Around 12:54 p.m. on Thursday, sheriff’s deputies, firefighters and county animal control officers responded to a 911 call about an apparent animal attack involving an infant at a home in Chelsea, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.The infant was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead due to injuries suspected to have been caused by the animal, the release said.A wolf-hybrid is a term for a canine with mixed wolf and dog ancestry.
