HOYLAKE, England (AP) — Brian Harman turned back every challenge in the British Open, from big names to bad weather, and took his place among major champions Sunday with a victory that was never seriously in doubt at Royal Liverpool.Harman twice responded to a rare bogey with back-to-back birdies, leaving everyone else playing for second. He closed with a 1-under 70, making an 8-foot par putt on the last hole for a six-shot victory.At age 36, he is the oldest first-time major winner since Sergio Garcia was 37 when he won the Masters in 2017.Harman had gone 167 tournaments over six years since his last win in the 2017 Wells Fargo Championship. DENVER (KDVR) -- A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in an intersection in Fort Collins on Sunday afternoon.Fort Collins Police Department responded to the crash at approximately 12:33 p.m. and found a motorcycle rider with life-threatening injuries, according to a press release. 4 juveniles in custody after crash following armed robbery, chase The rider was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.It happened at the intersection of Lemay Avenue and Commanche Drive. Police are investigating a reported robbery aboard a yacht along the Miami River.7News cameras captured a heavy police presence and several City of Miami Police cruisers with their lights on parked in the area of Southwest North River Drive and Second Street, near The Wharf Miami, just after 10 p.m., Sunday.The owner of the yacht said they chartered the vessel earlier in the day, and between 13 and 17 people were on board.When it came time to bring the yacht back to its proper dock, the owner said, the people who chartered the yacht paid, but they later held the captain of the boat at gunpoint and demanded their money back.Thankfully, the boat’s owner said, no one was hurt, adding that another crew member had a cellphone and was able to text for help.While the yacht is currently docked near The Wharf, the venue has nothing to do with the incident.A 7News crew saw police officers going on and off the yacht, as they continue to investigate.
