Rapper Blueface ordered to pay $13M in damages after Vegas strip club shooting

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A judge has ordered rapper Blueface to pay a shuttered Las Vegas strip club more than $13 million in damages after a shooting in 2022, according to court documents. Earlier this month, a different judge sentenced Blueface, whose real name is Johnathan Porter, to probation for the Oct. 8, 2022, shooting that left one man injured.The victim said he was shot in the hand outside of Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club on Windy Road off the Las Vegas Strip, according to documents the 8 News Now Investigators obtained. He reportedly recognized Porter in the venue and had spoken “with him earlier in the night.” The victim said he made a joke about Porter “speaking with some females in a cheap vehicle,” according to the documents.Prosecutors initially charged Porter with attempted murder. Bathroom arson fire evacuates Burnsville elementary school

A Burnsville elementary school was evacuated Monday afternoon after an arson fire in a bathroom, officials said.Firefighters responded to a smoke alarm at Edward Neill Elementary just before 1 p.m. A small bathroom fire was extinguished by sprinklers, the fire department said in a statement. Portion of Albany County Rail Trail to face closures

NEW SCOTLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A portion of the Albany County Rail Trail will face periodic closures for the next six weeks. The Department of Public Works will be performing restoration work on the Bender Melon Farm Preserve Bridge. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! The county said the work will take place from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays until the work is complete. Crews will be working to minimize full closures as much as possible.

Mother of missing woman shocked police searched former family property

LOUIS – The mother of a south St. Louis woman missing for more than three years is shocked over news that investigators were digging in the backyard of the home where they once lived in the 3700 block of Burgen. “I have nothing to hide,” said Michele Miller, Bre-Ayn Miller’s mother. “I would never hurt my child.”Bre-Ayn turned 21 a few months before she was last seen in July 2020. Friends say the south St. Louis woman had a verbal dispute with a boyfriend shortly before her disappearance. She was last seen near Delor and South Grand. Teen with cognitive disabilities reported missing near High Ridge

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. – Personnel with the High Ridge Fire Protection District and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office are searching for a missing teenager with cognitive disabilities.Takota Latimer, 13, was last seen around 7 p.m. in the area of Carol Park Road, near High Ridge. The boy’s family said he is known to wander off.Authorities deployed drones equipped with thermal imaging and a bloodhound. The dog is being rested after two strenuous hours of searching, and the drones are being recharged. Officers are continuing the search on foot for the time being.Anyone who sees Takota or has knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact the non-emergency dispatch line for the sheriff’s office at 636–797–9999.

CU Boulder has engraved Ralphie on every space instrument for more than 30 years
